Carl Adam Landström

At the age of seventeen, Carl Adam Landström began his studies at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm, where Ralph Gustafsson (organ), Anders Bondeman (improvisation), Tomas Willstedt (improvisation), and Stefan Therstam were his teachers. He continued his studies in Paris with Francois-Henri Houbart (organ and improvisation) and received his Soloist Diploma in 2008. He attended master classes with David Sanger, Loïc Maillé, and Pierre Pincemaille. Carl Adam Landström has recorded several CD’s, made recordings for radio and television, and has played at special events such as the Nobel Banquet. Alongside his activities as a freelance soloist all over Europe and in Australia, Landström worked as an organist at Katarina Church in Stockholm. Since June 2011 he is organist in St. Peter’s Church in Malmö. Carl Adam Landström teaches organ, improvisation and liturgical organ playing at the Malmö College of Music. The Swedish Royal Academy of Music has twice awarded him the national organ stipend.
